Lenox Consulting is continuing to expand its team with the addition of Emma Sylvia as a Communications Specialist, bringing additional writing, community engagement, and storytelling experience to the strategic communications and public affairs firm.
Sylvia previously worked with the Asbury Park Chamber of Commerce, where she helped spearhead popular events throughout the Asbury Park area while gaining valuable experience in the nonprofit and business communities. She later worked with Community Magazine, a Monmouth County-focused publication highlighting local leaders, community events, businesses, foundations, and nonprofit organizations.
Sylvia holds a Bachelor of Arts in English, with a concentration in Creative Writing, from Pace University in New York City. She also interned with the National Book Foundation, supporting efforts to bring literature and storytelling to underserved communities, and volunteered with the organization’s annual National Book Awards.
“Emma has already shown us that she shares a passion for engaging with the communities we work in and that she has an ability to build meaningful relationships that will make her an invaluable part of our growing team and an important resource for our clients,” Steve Lenox, President of Lenox Consulting, said. “We are excited to welcome Emma on board!”
At Lenox Consulting, Sylvia will use her writing and communications experience to help clients tell their stories, reach key audiences, and highlight the people, organizations, businesses, and communities making an impact across New Jersey and beyond.
The addition of Sylvia brings Lenox Consulting’s full-time staff to five and reflects the firm’s continued growth and commitment to expanding its capabilities while maintaining the hands-on, personalized service that has defined the firm since its founding.
“I’m thrilled to be joining Lenox Consulting, giving me the chance to meet people from all across the state and share their stories,” Sylvia said. “Even after just starting, I’ve already begun to make connections that I never would have been exposed to if not for this opportunity.”
