With a professional background that includes stints as state director to U.S. Senator Frank Lautenberg, legislative affairs coordinator for the New Jersey State AFL-CIO, and chief of staff to Assemblywoman Linda Greenstein, Steve launched Lenox Consulting in 2010.

Since then, building on close relationships he has developed and cultivated with elected officials, business and labor leaders, and other key decision makers, Steve has built a portfolio of clients that have included prominent advocacy organizations, property developers, local governments, and growing businesses.

In 2020 Steve launched Oasis Media, under which he serves as publisher for five TAPinto hyperlocal news sites. With a growing team of local reporters, Oasis Media has successfully returned reliable local news coverage to nine New Jersey communities with a total population of over 700,000 residents. These franchises continue to lead in readership and revenue generation across the network of more than 90 sites.

In August 2022 Steve, under the direction of Governor Phil Murphy, led the launch of the New Jersey Ireland Center, making New Jersey the first state to have a permanent economic development office in Ireland. Steve remains at the forefront of efforts to build meaningful engagement opportunities for scaling companies, universities, and other stakeholders between New Jersey and Ireland.

Steve also serves as president of Irish Network USA, a 501c3 organization with a mission of growing engagement among the “Global Irish” through business, culture, education, and sports.
