This week I had the chance to attend the WILLIAM FRY LLP AI Summit and Enterprise Ireland’s Startup Day in Dublin, and the Scale Ireland Regional Startup Summit in Athlone. At each event, I was excited to engage with top-tier innovators, policymakers, funders, and advocates—all working to keep Ireland ahead of the curve and a launchpad for global success.
William Fry continues to lead on the legal front of AI and tech. Enterprise Ireland remains a gold standard for how a government agency can power growth. And Scale Ireland is exactly the kind of trade group startups need—active, informed, and community-driven.
In every room, I was proud to help bring New Jersey into the conversation as the most practical “next home” for Irish scale-ups looking toward the U.S. market. Thanks to the continued presence of the New Jersey Ireland Center at events like these since 2022, that idea is no longer met with skepticism—it’s gaining real traction.
The best networking still happens in person, and this week was proof that the ties between Ireland and New Jersey are stronger—and more promising—than ever.
