Paterson Firefighters Make Donation to Breast Cancer Program
In early November, members of the Paterson Fire Department and Paterson Firefighters Association joined together at Paterson Fire Headquarters to present executives from St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center with a donation in the amount of $12,700 to the Center’s Breast Cancer Program.
Throughout the month of October, Paterson Firefighters wore custom pink shirts as part of their uniform each day to raise awareness for breast cancer research. These efforts, along with introducing a social media component to the campaign, led to the sale of over 900 of these commemorative t-shirts across the country.
